The Pursuit of Design and Efficiency

As accounting and financial professionals, the core values we must provide to our clients are “accuracy,” “trust,” and “lean efficiency.”

In building the new website for Quantum Accounting, we aimed to shape this very philosophy into a digital experience.

In this article, we will introduce the design and philosophy of the new website, along with the innovations we implemented to improve the UX (User Experience).

Intuitive UI/UX Design

Accounting firm websites often tend to be overloaded with information.

However, what visitors to the site are looking for is a simple answer: “Can they solve my company’s problems?”

Therefore, we consciously focused on the concept of “subtraction” in our design.

• Highly Legible Typography: We meticulously adjusted font sizes and margins to create a screen layout that prevents visual fatigue, even when reading lengthy texts.
• Clean Color Palette: Based on blue and white to convey sincerity and calmness, we established color rules that naturally communicate the hierarchy of information.
• Intuitive Navigation: We designed the navigation to be as simple as possible so users can find the service information and contact forms they need without getting lost.

The Invisible Hospitality of Speed

To provide an excellent UX, it is essential not only for the site to be visually beautiful, but also to ensure that “pages load instantly.”

A site with long wait times alone becomes a source of stress for visitors.

To solve this, we incorporated several behind-the-scenes innovations for this project.

• Streamlined Code Structure: We stripped unnecessary code from the backend programs (such as HTML) that run the site, optimizing it so browsers can render the screen rapidly.
• Utilizing Static Caching: Instead of having the server compute data every time a page is opened, we implemented a system that instantly displays pre-prepared pages.

Efficient Infrastructure Selection

Furthermore, we demanded an efficiency worthy of the name “Quantum” for the server infrastructure running the site.

Rather than building a large-scale, costly server environment, we intentionally adopted minimal cloud resources.

Even with limited resources, by fine-tuning the settings down to the finest details, we have achieved loading speeds and stability equal to or greater than those of large-scale servers.

This approach of maximizing performance while keeping unnecessary costs down is exactly what we practice in our daily accounting work.
